3 ways to help soothe a teething baby

March 23, 2018 by lorrin sell Leave a Comment

After having been through 4 babies, I am more than a little aware of how difficult teething can be.  Your poor baby screams, and cries, and it seems like there is little you can do to help.  You’re probably constantly looking for ways to help soothe a teething baby.

I actually remember the pediatrician telling us with our first baby, that if we chose to give him medicine the entire time he was teething, he could potentially be medicated for months.  Obviously, that wasn’t a viable option.  Luckily, I found a few ways that helped our babies, and hopefully will help yours too!!

3 ways to help soothe a teething baby

these are great tips for soothing a teething baby

**This post was sponsored by Baltic Wonder.  All of the opinions expressed are my own.

1. Use teething toys that allow you to cool them

This helped all of my babies immensely, and provided entertainment.  We often put damp washcloths into the freezer to let our babies gnaw on (just make sure they’re not soaking wet, or you will have a very wet baby as the washcloth thaws!)

2. Use pressure.

Use your finger to rub your baby’s gums, or offer a silicone toy for your baby to gnaw on.

3. Use an amber teething necklace.

Sadly, we didn’t discover teething necklaces until our youngest was born, but she lived in hers.  AND she gave us the least amount of trouble when it came to teething.

Some more info about teething necklaces:

The Supportive Benefits of Baltic Amber Teething Necklaces

The physiological benefits of Baltic Amber are dynamically beneficial to its wearer. Especially when you take into consideration the therapeutic make-up of Succinic Acid, the active property in Baltic Amber. The medicinal components of Succinic Acid provide a most advantageous return-on-investment as a result of its anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anti-oxidants properties. This holistic interaction is achieved through a natural bioelectrical interchange between the golden-hued resinous biomatter and the human body.

Overall, the dynamic between a Baltic Amber Teething necklace and the wearer is supportive of the body’s immune system. When Succinic Acid is warmed against the body, it releases its purported medicinal value which is therein absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream. In brief, Baltic Amber works as an adaptogen. In other words, a natural substance which thereby helps the body adapt to stress while exerting a normalizing effect upon bodily processes.

3 Ways Baltic Amber Positively Supports the Body

For centuries and across cultures, the medicinal and therapeutic value of Baltic Amber was revered. Notable physicians all the way back to Hippocrates exalted the use of Succinic Acid in treating illness and infirmities in his patients. There are many ways to utilize the healing properties of Baltic Amber. Among the most common was wearing it as an amulet to protect against stressors. Still, to this day, people turn to the support of Baltic Amber Teething necklaces, such as the ones found at www.BalticWonder.Com/, as a homeopathic tool to naturally treat illness and afflictions.

  1. Alleviates Pain as a Natural Analgesic

The homeopathic alternative of Baltic Amber Teething necklaces is different from other teething necklaces. First off, they are not meant to be chewed on, rather their medicinal value is obtained from being warmed against the skin. Thereafter, the therapeutic benefits are absorbed through the skin while the necklace sits around the neck. Once in the bloodstream, the Succinic Acid effectively alleviates pain as a result of its analgesic properties. With this in mind, pain from stress is naturally culled.

  1. Decreases Swelling With Its Anti-Inflammatory Properties

Inflammation is caused by a swelling of internal systems. The Succinic Acid inside of Baltic Amber works quickly at addressing and decreasing swelling inside of the body. Its anti-inflammatory properties specifically aid in reducing inflammation in the gums in regards to teething. Moreover, Succinic Acid is capable of treating headaches, sinus infections and in resisting viruses and detrimental pathogens. Most importantly, Baltic Amber is a viable holistic treatment offering a natural homeopathic alternative to over-the-counter medicines and their negative side-effects.

  1. Replenishes The Body With Its Antioxidants

The life-cycle of Succinic Amber began as sap dripping down trees in the Baltic Region of Europe. The ooze of the sap effectively sealed and healed the tree against potential stressors. Over the centuries, Succinic Acid congealed and fortified into a most advantageous resinous gem, Baltic Amber. In sum, its potent bioelectrical charge is abundantly full of antioxidants which therein bolsters the body’s immune system. To this day, Baltic Amber carries the capability of positively protecting and replenishing the body’s internal systems.
