I’m back again with day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop. Today, I’m sharing this sweet DIY snowman family sign. I absolutely adored how it turned out. The fact that it was so simple to do was icing on the cake. You know me, and not doing anything that takes too long– I’ll never finish it!

What you need:
- wooden sign
- hot glue gun
- tacky glue
- twigs
- miscellaneous white buttons
- floss
- old socks
What to do:
Set your buttons on your sign and decide where they’re going to go.
Make your scarves, using floss, and tying them with a loop.
Use old socks to cut snow hats for your snowmen, and tie them on at the top with floss.
Start by hot gluing the buttons to the sign, making sure to leave a space for the scarves.
Next, use the hot glue to add your scarves, and hats.
Use tacky glue to add twigs to your snowmen for their arms.
That’s it! How cute is this little sign??!! You could even paint the family’s name at the top.
So, since the last few days have been all about snow, I have to know– are you a snow person?? I am NOT! Unless it’s made of buttons… and not cold… 😉

I love this, it would be a fun craft for the kids when stuck inside on a bitter snow day!
